The Tri-State Pilots Association was founded in January,1995 {and became a Chapter of the Arkansas Pilots Association in April,1996} for the purpose of enhancing General Aviation Safty, improving utilization of aviation resources in the North East Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, and Western Tennessee area, promoting General Aviation, and promoting public awareness of the benefits of general aviation to the community.
